  • What is a Chemical Peel?

    A chemical peel is a medical grade solution that is applied to your skin during a facial service.  As it begins to work, it gently removes the top layer of your skin through an exfoliation process.  


    Removing the top of layer of skin, tells your skin it’s time to regrow a new fresh layer of healthy skin.  The new layer of skin comes back smoother, tighter and with a more even tone revealing more youthful, glowing skin.

  • How long until I see results from my Chemical Peel?

    How long it takes to see the results of a chemical peel treatment can vary depending on the depth of the peel and individual skin response. 


    Generally, you can expect to notice visible improvements in your skin's appearance within a week or two after the treatment.

  • What is the downtime with a Chemical Peel?

    You may experience some redness, dryness, and flaking as the outer layers of skin exfoliate. This is a normal part of the healing process and will subside as fresh, new skin emerges.


    You will want to avoid excess sun, excessive exercise, and other activities as directed by your aesthetic provider.
