PDO Thread Treatment in Baltimore MD

When we start to lose collagen in the face as we age you may notice that part of your face starts to sag or drop; it's not as tight and lifted as it used to be.

Vanity Skin Bar has the perfect non-surgical solution for this problem; PDO Threads. A PDO Thread treatment is able to lift the tissue and lock it in place. The threads inserted through a cannula naturally absorb overtime and as they do, they help promote collagen building.

The results are immediate, improve over time, and because of the collagen building aspect, the results last up to two years. This is a minimally invasive procedure that creates an immediate more youthful appearance.

How do PDO Threads Work?

To perform a PDO treatment we use threads from VSoft®. V Soft® threads are sterile single use polydioxanone sutures in a cannula. They are non-permanent threads, that are expertly placed in a specific pattern below the skin’s surface. Once inserted, the injection needle is removed but the suture remains to get to work! Over time, the suture dissolves and, in the process, stimulates your body to naturally produce collagen in the area it was placed.
